The four losses prior to that were all against squads significantly better than E.Wash and all were on the road.....Tonight is a HOME game where they play even better.

Their top player, Bamba, missed two conf games - one a road loss at tough, UTAH....and the other a home win vs Stanford - which we could argue was only a 1 pt win *because* they were without their best player. Stanford is better than E.Wash.

Rivalry game.  I expect underdog Eagles to show a lot of spunk and even lead early!.....possibly back and forth through 3 Qs.....But barring an unusual night shooting for either team and/or bad run of fouls on Cougars, I expect the significantly better team - fully healthy and playing at home - to pull it out by game's end

As of this morning there are no known announcements of any player not suiting up for this game...

Not so sure of the risk reward value here

Well I am very aware of the risk of an upset.   But I'm not going to let that "fear" guide my capping away from probable wins.

The junior also announced that he will be skipping the NIT.

He was Vandy's top forward since 7'0" Robbins was injured March 01

Now their top two forwards are OUT an_light

Pride @Scarlet Knights

Scarlet Knights the better team here but may be in a funk. VERY mixed results the past few weeks. Being at home doesn't appear to be an advantage as they've lost their most recent 3 home games - all by DD against teams they should have played much better, producing a couple wins at least. Pride have little to lose as the underdog here and a spread cover looks 50/50 to me.
No injuries apparent at this time.

Rockets @Wolverines

Wolverines the better team.
Rockets 18 - 3, but in a mediocre MAC. Wolverines just 11 - 10 but in the much tougher BIG TEN. Even so, in that much tougher conference, Michigan is 8 - 2 at home! Their only HOME losses were to highly ranked Hoosiers and even higher ranked Boilermakers - both waaaay better than Toledo - and both were razor close losses they could have won!

Rockets (in conference = recent play) played only one opp roughly ranked somewhat similar to Michigan - Kent State - whereupon the Rockets lost both: by 12 on the road in January and by 15 on a neutral floor 3 days ago.

The question for me is how motivated will the Wolverines be having missed out on the BIG DANCE?
No apparent injuries/announcements at this time to either team.

LEAN to Wolverines, but I wanna see the pregame lineups before making any bets.

I had been hopeful to grab VANDY, but with Stute deciding to turn his back on his teammates, the Commodores have no starting forwards upfront. an_speechless YALE has a size advantage up front anyway, so that makes it worse.paint_help

   IMV this is a pick'em now.   I will not be looking to take Vandy in game but rather YALE may be the better option in game if the boxscore metrics are favorable.

 I’m thinking the 3.5 Yale is getting looks pretty good right now. Just not sure if they’re due for a letdown after losing the Ivy final.

True.  Probably 85-90% of my bets are on the homies just because there is always that edge likely.

Looking forward to the 64, Bama and Auburn appear to be the only teams with virtual hometeam status.

Reasonable......but no harm in holding off for an ingame bet with that uncertainty.....let's see how the motivation of each team is flowing in the first 10-15 mins or so... thumbs_up

Yep, I hesitated a bit but GOOD CALL I think as Wolverines *DO* appear motivated tonight and they are the better team, and at home!

I'll look to gram Michigan shortly at a decent price.......or wait if for another Rocket run if I must......and if I miss the opp altogether, oh well
