My guess would be 1/2 of whatever his 1 unit size is.  Who cares how much he bets per unit....It's based on % of your roll.  .5 would be 1/2 of YOUR unit size. DUR!!!

I'll give my opinion that this is different for every person.  Person A may play $1000 per unit and therefore a .5U play would be $500, while person B may play $50 per unit and therefore .5U at $25.  We're all trying to slowly and steadily increase the amount played per unit while comfortably making sure there's no risk of going broke on a cool streak.

and guess u woudl guess right djmark.  if i asked u djmarks i would say "HEY DJMARKS" what ur .5 unit size! it was a question for investments and if investments doesnt want to answer then i will take that as well.  thanks!

Sorry, I guess I misunderstood as I've seen lots of people on message boards who think a unit is a standard, fixed amount such as $100.  Didn't mean it to be a smart-aleck answer.

 400,, but I really dont want people to get caught up on amounts played,, everyone has to go by their bankroll,, 10 years ago,, half a unit for me equaled 25 dollars,, so there is nothing wrong with different unit sizes,, you have to work your way up,,, thats why i only play half and 1 unit plays,, because when I do have a bad day,,(( and I will have them))  by playing the same amounts all the time,, Im not going to take a big hit,, if ya play 20 units a play,, and say ya win 10 in a row and go up 200 units  but then you lose 20 more then you win over the next month, you would be down 200 units,, which will put someone on tilt real fast,, so just go by whatever fits your bankroll,, a profit is a profit no matter the unit amount,, its all about ROI %,,  if that number can be high then thats all that matters,, this isnt directed at you bud,, but for any youngsters or newbies,, dont go risking your whole account of 400 bucks because you think im confident enough to play it at that amount,, my units are less then half a % of my bankroll, i could play more, but im kinda conservative I guess you could say,, but only with this,, lol,, which if ya knew me ya would never think I would be that way,, i am known to take some pretty big risks,, lol,,,  Okay,, enough of the blah blah,, Hope that helps,,

MISSED MY 3 TEAMER WITH SAMFORD NOT COVERIN,, HEDGED THE AMOUNT OF IT AFTER THE EARLIER PLAYS WON,, BUT DANG,,  HAVENT HIT A PARALY IN OVER 2 WEEKS NOW,,, LOL,, PLAY ABOUT 4 A WEEK TOO,, so let that be a lesson to show that parlays are really tough to hit, even with high winning %
