NFL is just around the corner, that's not good for my CFL picks!
BC @ MTL -3.5 Give me Montreal at home coming off a rare embarrassing loss and BC on a short week. Alexander is banged up but was a full participant in practice and is available for this game. Although Montreal doesn't need this game as bad as BC and why risk Alexander more, I still like Montreal to win and cover. Because Alexander will play, he's a competitor/dog. If for whatever reason it's announced before the game that he won't be starting/playing then I'll change my pick. 34-27 Alouettes
WPG +5.5 @ SK The Riders are getting healthier. Ouellette, Ford, Johnson, Sayles, Awachie all were full participants in todays practice. Vaughters was limited. I love them to win, as they rarely ever lose on Labour Day in Regina. But I think this is a close 3-4 point game. Winnipeg is starting to click on both sides of the ball. Riders will be wearing their awesome black uniforms. 30-26 Riders

TOR -3.5 @ HAM What's changed since these 2 teams played on Aug 22 and Toronto spanked Hamilton by 19 points? Not a lot, maybe Hamilton will play Frost instead of Ford? Still, between the 2 QBs Ford seems like the better option with his ability to extend plays/take off and run and tire out a D. I'd hate defending Ford VS Frost. Hamilton just can't keep up with the Argos on the scoreboard despite being at home on Labour Day. 35-25 Argos
EDM -1.5 @ CAL VA is trending in the right direction of playing in this game, but will he play the whole game? Maybe take a scary hit and get taken out of the game? A head injury the team won't take lightly. Edmonton is coming off the bye, well rested and fairly healthy. Edmonton is just the better overall team in this spot and no real homefield advantage for Calgary. Give me the Elks coaching, defense, and offense over Calgary especially with a banged up VA. 37-31 Elks
