F1 British Grand Prix 2025 post-qualifying picks
Race prediction: Piastri to win (+175 at bet365)
While Verstappen would like nothing more than to bounce back from his DNF in Austria, Oscar Piastri will spoil those plans.
Piastri has the most wins on the circuit this year with five, and he’s never far away from the checkered flag. The longest stretch of races he’s gone without winning is two.
That’s happened twice this year, and the McLaren star bounced back with a win in China and a checkered flag in Spain. Piastri's at that limit again, so I expect him to find a way on the Silverstone Circuit.
Best bet: Hamilton podium finish (-120 at bet365)
Lewis Hamilton is the defending champion here and has won this race nine times overall, including eight of the last 11.
His practice runs played out far better than qualifying, where he will start fifth.
Although Hamilton has yet to find a podium this year, his promising runs leading up to race day — combined with his strong track record at Silverstone — have him primed for his best finish of the season.

Understanding F1 betting odds
The most popular way to bet on Formula 1 odds is by simply picking the winner of a particular race. Other popular F1 betting options include which car/constructor will win and whether or not a particular race car driver will end up on the podium with a Top-3 finish.
F1 race odds usually look like this:
- Charles Leclerc +400
This means that on a $100 bet, you'll stand to profit $400 if Leclerc wins that particular race. If one driver is especially dominant, you might see a minus sign (-) ahead of that driver's odds like this:
- Max Verstappen -120
This means that you would need to bet $120 to win $100 on Verstappen winning the race.
