How the DraftKings Promo Code Offer Works
No DraftKings promo code is required to activate this welcome offer. New customers simply sign up through the exclusive link, make a minimum $5 deposit and place a qualifying wager of at least $5 on any sports betting market. For this article, the Trail Blazers vs. Lakers game is the target for that first bet, which counts as day 1 of the offer.
Your first bet qualifies whether it wins or loses. If your Trail Blazers vs. Lakers wager wins, you collect your regular winnings and still receive the full bonus. If it loses, you still get the $200 in bonus bets, delivered as eight $25 bonus bets.
Here are the key terms and conditions:
- The offer is available only to new customers in AR, AZ, CO, CT, DC, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NH, NY, OH, OR, PA, PR, TN, VA, VT, WY and WV.
- A minimum $5 deposit and a minimum $5 qualifying wager are required.
- You will receive two $25 bonus bets instantly after your qualifying wager.
- You will then receive two $25 bonus bets every seven days for 21 days through a click-to-claim process.
- Bonus bets expire seven days from issuance, and the stake is not included in any winnings from bonus bets.
- The offer includes a code for a three-month trial of NBA League Pass.
- The promotion expires on Nov. 29, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Claim your DraftKings welcome offer with expert picks for Portland at Los Angeles
DraftKings is offering new users $200 in bonus bets after a $5 wager, and Portland vs. Los Angeles picks from top experts make this an ideal time to sign up.
- Chris Walder backs POR +2.5, noting that the Trail Blazers rank second in offense and third in defense through two games, making them a strong cover candidate against the Lakers; a winning $5 wager at +2.5 returns roughly $4.55 in profit, while a loss still earns $200 in bonus bets via the DraftKings welcome offer.
- Jon Metler takes the POR moneyline, arguing that Toumani Camara and Jrue Holiday present a tough defensive challenge for Luka Doncic, Donovan Clingan can protect the paint, and the Trail Blazers are among the NBA's most underrated teams as 42% underdogs; a winning $5 wager on Portland's moneyline would return profit based on the available odds, while a loss still triggers the $200 in bonus bets from DraftKings.
