How the DraftKings Promo Code Offer Works
Eligible new customers who sign up with this DraftKings promo code offer need to deposit at least $5 and place a qualifying wager of at least $5 on any sports betting market. No DraftKings promo code is required to activate the welcome bonus. Customers can use the 76ers vs. Knicks game on Oct. 20 as their qualifying first wager, which counts as day 1 of the offer.
After the qualifying bet is placed, customers receive two $25 bonus bets instantly. Two more $25 bonus bets are released every seven days for 21 days through a click-to-claim process, for a total of $200 across eight bonus bets. Customers also receive a code for a three-month trial of NBA League Pass.
Here is a look at the key terms and conditions:
- The offer is for new customers only in AR, AZ, CO, CT, DC, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NH, NY, OH, OR, PA, PR, TN, VA, VT, WY and WV.
- A minimum $5 deposit and a $5 qualifying wager are required.
- Bonus bets expire seven days from issuance.
- The stake is not included in any winnings derived from bonus bets.
- The promotion expires Nov. 29, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
For example, if a customer bets $5 on the 76ers vs. Knicks game and the bet wins, the customer receives the winnings and the two $25 bonus bets. If the bet loses, the customer still receives the same bonus bets and the rest of the $200 in bonus bets over the following three weeks.
Bet $5, get $200 in bonus bets on one of our NBA picks at DraftKings
DraftKings is offering new users $200 in bonus bets after a $5 wager, making it an ideal time to act on these expert NBA picks from Shawn Krest, Jon Metler, and Geoff Clark.
- Shawn Krest backs the Knicks at NY -4.5 against the 76ers, citing New York's continuity and stability over Philadelphia's newly assembled roster, noting that a $5 qualifying wager at -4.5 (roughly even money) would return approximately $4.44 in profit on a win, while a loss still delivers $200 in bonus bets.
- Jon Metler also sides with New York at NY -5.5, arguing that the Knicks' familiarity and proven rotations give them a clear Opening Night edge over a 76ers team still sorting out minutes and usage, with a $5 wager at -5.5 returning approximately $4.17 in profit on a win or $200 in bonus bets on a loss.
- Geoff Clark takes the Spurs at SA -2.5 at -102, pointing to San Antonio's 8-4 record against Oklahoma City last season and Wembanyama operating without early-season minutes restrictions, with a $5 wager at -102 returning approximately $4.90 in profit on a win or $200 in bonus bets on a loss.
