The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will try to win their fourth game in a row as they head to Manitoba to face the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday.

The Ticats have been putting up points at ease, and my Tiger-Cats vs. Blue Bombers predictions are betting on that to continue.

Here are my best free CFL picks for this Week 17 clash on September 27.

Tiger-Cats vs Blue Bombers prediction

My Tiger-Cats vs Blue Bombers pick: Tiger-Cats team total Over 25.5 (-110 at BET99)

I'm hesitant to play the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on the spread since their defense is banged up and has been inconsistent. That said, I have plenty of faith in a Ticats offense that has been lighting it up with MOP favourite Bo Levi Mitchell under center.

Mitchell leads the CFL in passing yards (4,194), and Hamilton's ground game has stepped up with Greg Bell rushing for 386 yards on 59 carries over the last three weeks. The Ticats are second in the league in scoring (30.0 ppg) and have dropped 26+ points in eight of their last nine games.

Meanwhile, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers have allowed at least 26 points in eight of their previous 11 contests. They are last in the CFL in yards allowed per play (6.90) and have been surrendering big plays due to blown coverages and missed tackles.

In addition, Winnipeg’s offense has turned the ball over a league-high 37 times, which leads to good field position for opponents.

Tiger-Cats vs Blue Bombers same-game parlay (SGP)

Tiger-Cats team total Over 25.5

Blue Bombers moneyline

The Bombers lost to the Ticats 32-21 two weeks ago in Hamilton with backup Chris Streveler under center. They'll be tougher to beat this week at home, especially with starting QB Zach Collaros returning after a two-game absence.

Collaros has been shaky this year, but the two-time MOP winner is still a significant upgrade from Streveler. In addition, reigning MOP Brady Oliveira should gash a Ticats defense that is eighth in the league in yards allowed per rush (5.6) and has its top two linebackers listed as questionable.

The non-correlated multiplier of taking Hamilton's team total Over while backing Winnipeg on the moneyline is a great play at +525.
