Week 13 saw the Saskatchewan Roughriders defeat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 34-30 in a thriller at Mosaic Stadium.

However, the matchup shifts to Manitoba on Saturday, and my Roughriders vs. Blue Bombers predictions have Winnipeg exacting revenge on home turf.

Here are my CFL picks for September 6, with kickoff set for 4:00 p.m. ET from Princess Auto Stadium.

My Roughriders vs Blue Bombers pick: Blue Bombers moneyline (-130 at BET99)

The Saskatchewan Roughriders may have gotten the best of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers last weekend, but Zach Collaros & Co. will turn the tables this time around.

Billed as the "Banjo Bowl," the back half of this prairie rivalry has the Bombers hosting the Riders, and even though Winnipeg was undone by three turnovers last week, there are reasons for optimism.

Despite falling short against Saskatchewan, Collaros moved the ball at will against the Riders’ defense, completing 70.3% of his passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns.

Running back Brady Oliveira was held to just five carries, but the former MOP should rebound with a heavier workload as the Bombers look to keep the Riders off balance. In last year’s Western Final win over Saskatchewan, Oliveira carried the ball 20 times for 119 yards.

Although the Bombers' defense has struggled with consistency at times, they’re still holding opponents to a league-low 61.3% completion rate and lead the CFL in opponent two-and-out rate (37%). Riders QB Trevor Harris was contained to 17-of-27 passing last week, and while RB A.J. Ouellette is bound to rack up numbers on the ground, a negative game script would limit his impact.

Princess Auto Stadium also hasn’t been kind to the Riders, as Winnipeg has won seven straight home games against Saskatchewan. A packed crowd will be on hand Saturday, giving the Bombers the edge to prevail.
