Week 10 of the CFL season kicks off on Thursday night between the British Columbia Lions and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Hamilton Stadium.

This is a rematch from two weeks ago, in which the Tiger-Cats won 37-33 on the road. They have now won six consecutive games this season after starting 0-2.

My Lions vs. Tiger-Cats predictions and CFL picks expect the Tiger-Cats to put plenty of points on the scoreboard on August 7.

Lions vs Tiger-Cats prediction

My Lions vs Tiger-Cats pick: Tiger-Cats team total Over 29.5 (-110 at BET99)

These two teams had no issue scoring in their last meeting a couple of weeks ago, and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats have had no issue scoring all season long. They lead the CFL in scoring averaging 31.6 points per game through eight games.

Quarterback Bo Levi-Mitchell leads the league in both passing yards and passing touchdowns. Kenny Lawler is second in the league in receiving yards and leads the CFL in receiving touchdowns.

Despite scoring 37 points, Lawler only had two catches for 29 yards in the last matchup with the BC Lions.

Instead, it was Kiondre Smith who went off for 14 catches on 15 targets for 138 yards and two touchdowns. If the Lions adjust and focus more on Smith, I expect Lawler and Tim White to take advantage of the extra opportunities. There are just too many weapons for the Lions to contain.

The Lions allow 27.0 points per game, which ranks sixth out of nine teams in the league. They have allowed 30+ points in two consecutive games and in four of their eight games this season.

Besides the great offense, the Tiger-Cats also have one of the best returners in the CFL with Isaiah Wooden. He leads the CFL with 747 yards, almost 300 yards ahead of second-place Mario Alford. He also leads the league with 1,187 combined yards.

There will be plenty of opportunities for the Tiger-Cats to reach the endzone here, and I doubt they will let those opportunities slide. I love them to hit their team total Over here.
