Week 15 in the CFL kicks off on Friday night with a clash between the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

My Blue Bombers vs Tiger-Cats pick: Tiger-Cats -6.5 (-125 at BET99)
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will once again be without franchise quarterback Zach Collaros after he suffered a concussion in last week's loss to the Riders.
That means another start for Chris Streveler, who has thrown for five touchdowns with eight picks in backup duty this year. Streveler isn't a good enough passer to move the ball against a Hamilton Tiger-Cats defense ranked second in the league in opponent pass efficiency (91.0).
On the other side of the ball, Winnipeg's secondary has been getting burned due to blown coverages and sloppy tackling. The Bombers are sixth in the league in yards allowed per pass attempt (8.8) while ranking second-last in big plays allowed (36).
They'll get torched by a Ticats aerial attack spearheaded by MOP favourite Bo Levi Mitchell, who has a bevy of talented wide receivers at his disposal.
This line opened with Hamilton at -5.5 but has moved to -7.5. I'll buy a point to get the spread under that key number of 7.0.

While the Bombers have given up big plays, their down-to-down defense has been solid. They've allowed the fewest first downs in the CFL and also have the lowest opponent second-down conversion rate (44.8%).
Meanwhile, Winnipeg's offense has struggled with turnovers all year, and that problem will be exacerbated with Streveler under center.
Hamilton's offense has been pass-heavy for much of this season, but Greg Bell broke out with 156 yards in 20 carries last week. Expect the Ticats to get up early and then lean on their ground game — leading to a comfortable victory with the Under cashing.
