The 1-4 Toronto Argonauts and 3-2 Montreal Alouettes are set to open up Week 7 action, with both teams looking to rebound coming out of a bye week.

Montreal already topped Toronto in the season opener, and my Argonauts vs. Alouettes predictions expect the home side to pull away once again at Percival Molson Stadium.

Argonauts vs Alouettes prediction

My Argonauts vs Alouettes pick: Alouettes -10.5 (-110 at BET99)

The Montreal Alouettes may enter on the back of two straight losses, but there is an asterisk that comes with it.

Both games saw the Als without starting quarterback Davis Alexander, as the Montreal pivot missed both due to a hamstring injury suffered back in Week 3.

Prior to their QB getting banged up, the Alouettes' offense was firing on all cylinders. Alexander was flexing a 75.6% completion percentage and 116.1 efficiency rating, leading the Als to double-digit wins in all three starts.

Dating back to his league debut in 2024, Alexander is 7-0 as the Alouettes' starter. With the former Portland State product set to return on Thursday, they'll get to feast on a Toronto Argonauts defense that ranks second-last in opponent offensive points per game most recently conceding 44 in a 51-38 home loss to Hamilton.

Toronto's stop unit was a victim of major turnover during the offseason, especially on the D-line, where they lost All-Stars Jake Ceresna and Folarin Orimolade.

Meanwhile, Montreal's defense has been stingy, allowing just 22.4 points per game and a league-best 4.3 yards per rush.

In their Week 1 opener, the Als' D did the heavy lifting, holding Toronto to 10 points and 276 net yards while also recording two interceptions and forcing a fumble for a touchdown.

With Argos QB Chad Kelly still sidelined and Montreal ready to hone in on backup Nick Arbuckle, take the Alouettes to cover the double-digit spread.

Argonauts vs Alouettes same-game parlay (SGP)

Alouettes -10.5

Alouettes team total Over 30.0

Toronto’s defense has been repeatedly torched this season, tied with Ottawa for a league-worst 22 plays of 20+ yards while managing just three interceptions.

The Argonauts have allowed 38+ points in two of their last three outings, and Montreal has also eclipsed an O/U of 30.0 in two of three games with Alexander under center.
