The final week of the 2025 CFL regular season features a matchup between two teams still fighting for playoff seeding when the Montreal Alouettes travel west to take on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
The Blue Bombers doubled up the Alouettes on the road back in August and find themselves as favorites in the rematch at home.

My Alouettes vs Blue Bombers pick: Under 49.5 (-115 at BET99)
The importance of this game will depend heavily on Friday night’s results. If the Hamilton Tiger-Cats defeat the Ottawa Redblacks, then this game will mean virtually nothing to the Montreal Alouettes. Regardless, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will be trying to win to avoid being in the crossover position for the playoffs.
Because of the uncertainty, the safest bet here is to just stick to the game total. In the first matchup with both teams fighting for playoff positioning, there were only 39 points scored. It was 16-13 entering the fourth quarter with both defenses standing strong.
The Blue Bombers allowed only 302 total yards and 13 points in the last matchup, and they will be going all out again this time regardless of the results of Friday night. They rank fourth in the CFL in both yards and points allowed on the season as well. Meanwhile, the Alouettes offense ranks seventh in the CFL in those two categories.
If the Tiger-Cats hold serve on Friday night, we may see very little of the Alouettes starters on offense, and it would make this Under an extremely strong play. However, even if they are playing to win, they will struggle to move the ball on this defense.

To go with our best bet on the Under, I am going to take the Blue Bombers to win. They won the last matchup and may get an easier game this time around.
Finally, adding Montreal to cover the first half will boost the odds. Getting more than a field goal is too much, and we likely will see the starters for much of the first half regardless of Friday's results.
