Jake Paul and Mike Perry will do battle this Saturday with the latter taking Mike Tyson's place as that fight has been rescheduled.

Perry's boxing experience is, uh, limited, and the Problem Child is understandably heavily favored as he puts another ring on his circus.

Here are the betting odds for Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry, scheduled for this Saturday, July 20. Danny Howard has also put together his Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry predictions.

Additionally, we'll continue to monitor the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson odds until that fight happens or is permanently called off.

Jake Paul vs Mike Perry odds analysis

Jake Paul will face Mike Perry instead of Mike Tyson on July 20.

Paul was initially set to fight Tyson but will shift gears to the 32-year-old mixed-martial artist after the scheduled bout was postponed.

Perry started his MMA career 9-0. After a loss by decision to Alan Jouban in 2016, he won consecutive bouts over Jake Ellenberger and Alex Reyes by KO — both of which earned "performance of the night" honors at their respective UFC Fight Nights.

Since then, however, Perry has gone 3-7 and hasn't fought since a decision loss to Daniel Rodriguez in April 2021.

I should note that he hasn't fought in an MMA bout since then. After his UFC contract expired following the Rodriguez loss, Perry joined Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, where he has gone undefeated in five fights.

This fight with Paul will not be of the bare-knuckle variety. Perry's lone professional boxing match was a fourth-round knockout loss to Kenneth McNeil in 2015.

This seems to be Paul's bread and butter as a performer. He fights people who have some name recognition and legitimacy but are almost surefire bets for him to go over, either because they're washed up or in a venue that doesn't fit their strengths.

That isn't to say Paul isn't capable, but this is the sort of spectacle he's become known for. Sportsbooks agree and aren't giving Perry much of a shot to upset The Problem Child, either.

How to read boxing odds

The most common way to bet on a boxing match is by picking the overall winner of the bout. With Paul being the favorite for this fight, the minus sign (-) is in front of his odds at -180. That means bettors would need to wager $180 to win $100. A Tyson win would pay out more, as he's the underdog at +135. A $100 wager would lead to a $135 profit.

Other prop bets will become available closer to the fight date, such as the method of victory and round betting.

The odds listed above are in American format, but can easily be converted to decimal or fractional format via our odds converter tool.
