Miguel Cabrera became the seventh-youngest player in MLB history to record his 2,000th career hit.

Cabrera went 4-for-5 against the Baltimore Orioles, with his 2,000th hit coming off a two-run home run in the eighth inning Friday. It was also home run number 366 for Cabrera's career, which means he averages roughly nine home runs for every 50 plate appearances.

Cabrera joins an exclusive club of major leaguers that broke the milestone before 31, a list that includes Ty Cobb  and Hank Aaron.
