Spain vs Cape Verde parlay: +275

  • Mikel Oyarzabal anytime goal
  • Mikel Merino anytime goal

Spain should be able to put up a crooked number in their opener as a -1000 favorite with an implied full-game total of 3.7 goals. Let's roll with a pair of Mikels to find the scoresheet in a match that could feature plenty of substitutions if Spain gets comfortably ahead.

Mikel Merino (+125) and Mikel Oyarzabal (-188) combined for 12 goals during qualification, accounting for 66% of Spain's goal production. Spain also finished qualification as the highest-scoring nation by xG, generating 2.8 expected goals per match.

This lineup is loaded with attacking talent, so there are plenty of ways to attack the Spanish scoring market.

Belgium vs Egypt parlay: +1400

  • Kevin De Bruyne anytime goal
  • Mohamed Salah anytime goal

Belgium comes in as a -154 favorite on the three-way line, but Egypt finished qualification strong, going unbeaten in 10 matches while keeping eight clean sheets. That sets up an interesting matchup between two of the biggest names in world football.

Mohamed Salah (+275) remains the focal point for Egypt and is priced as the clear favorite to lead his nation in scoring at the tournament. He has consistently delivered across qualifiers, AFCON, and friendlies, maintaining his status as the primary attacking threat.

Kevin De Bruyne is still the engine of the Belgian attack, handling set pieces and penalties while operating as the central creator. Even with some injury concerns and age-related load management, his role remains unchanged when fit.

Saudi Arabia vs Uruguay parlay: +1400

  • Salem Al Dawsari anytime goal
  • Federico Valverde anytime goal

I don't trust this Uruguay attack to score multiple goals, and this team played its worst football closer to the tournament as opposed to early in qualification.

Salem Al Dawsari (+400) led Saudi Arabia in xG during qualification and captains the roster. He might not take penalties, but he's still the face of this attack.

There's some uncertainty with Darwin Nunez, who didn't start any of Uruguay's first six friendlies due to an apparent injury. That could open the door for Federico Valverde (+220) to take on penalty work.

He led all goalscorers in qualification in minutes played.

Iran vs New Zealand parlay: +850

  • Mehdi Taremi anytime goal
  • Mohammed Mohebi anytime goal

Mehdi Taremi (+162) is the betting favorite to score for Iran for a reason — he takes most set pieces and penalties. He also scored 10 goals in qualification and added several more across friendlies.

Iran scored 2+ goals in six of their final seven qualifiers, and another 11 goals across four friendlies.

He has a realistic path to multiple goals in the opener against a New Zealand side that had a relatively easy qualification path and lost eight of its last nine friendlies.

With Sardar Azmoun omitted from the roster, Mohammed Mohebi (+240) is expected to take on a larger attacking role for Iran, the betting favorites. He ranked third in qualification in xG behind both Taremi and Azmoun.
