TOP PICK
Who will win Norway vs Ivory Coast: Norway to win in regulation (+105)
Before resting their starters against France, Norway netted seven goals in their first two games of group play. We will see a very different Norway side on Tuesday than we did in their final game, with Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard leading the way.
Norway's approach is unlikely to change from their first two matches: relying on attacking quality and physicality to overwhelm opponents.
Norway will get Haaland into dangerous positions, where his deadly instinct in front of goal will decide the game.
The supporting attacking line of Sorloth, Odegaard and Nusa can both supply him and threaten themselves around the box, given their individual quality.
That is where the match will be decided, especially considering Ivory Coast’s struggles against Germany's relentless attack in their only defeat at the World Cup so far, where they were outshot 16-9 and had just 40% of possession.
Norway's attack operates on the same principles that undid Ivory Coast against Germany — high volume, relentless pressure, and pace in behind, which is why I'm backing them to win.
Play this to -110.
Norway vs Ivory Coast Over/Under pick: Over 2.5 (-116)
Norway's last 16 matches have produced an average of exactly four goals per game.
Solbakken has built a team with attacking weapons all over the pitch, making them extremely difficult for any opponent to contain.
Haaland looks to be in excellent form, finding the net twice against both Senegal and Iraq before being rested for the match against France.
I believe there is still plenty of fuel left in this Norway side, and they will stick to their attacking philosophy, looking to score as many goals as possible. It's also worth noting each of their last seven competitive matches has produced at least five goals.
Norway vs Ivory Coast goal scorer pick: Erling Haaland (-132)
Erling Haaland is already on four goals after just two games in the group stage, but there is no sign he plans to stop there.
He has scored at least once in each of his last 10 official appearances for Norway. In his last six outings, he has scored at least twice per match.
Haaland has also registered more than three shots on target in six of his last seven competitive appearances for Norway, which says everything about the danger Ivory Coast will face on Monday night.
