In their inaugural season, the Golden State Valkyries are in the playoff mix. Their opponent Friday, the Dallas Wings, would love nothing more than to put a dent in those plans.

Our Wings vs. Valkyries predictions and WNBA picks for July 25 look at the total, as recent results from both teams have this potentially turning into a slog.

Wings vs Valkyries predictions

My Wings vs Valkyries best bet: Under 160.5 (-110 at FanDuel)

The Dallas Wings came out of the All-Star break with a bang, ending a four-game losing slide by demolishing the Seattle Storm, 87-63.

That’s the second-lowest point total they’ve held an opponent to on the season, and that bodes well as they visit the Golden State Valkyries, a team they limited in an 80-71 win earlier this season.

Golden State is struggling, having dropped three in a row to fall out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the WNBA.

Their last game was also against Seattle, but they were beaten 67-58, turning in their lowest scoring performance of the season.

The Valkyries are Bottom 4 in scoring on the year at 79.1 points per game, but they do boast the league’s third-best scoring D. They rank first in field goal defense, limiting teams to 40.1% shooting.

That combination of tight defense and poor offense has the Under going 7-3 over G-State’s last 10 games.

The Under is 8-4 in the Valkyries’ 12 home games this year, and the score should stay low again.

Paige Bueckers pick: Bueckers bounces back

My Paige Bueckers best bet: Over 17.5 points (+100 at FanDuel)

Dallas rookie phenom Paige Bueckers is getting plus odds on going Over 17.5 points on Friday, after she was held to just 14 points in the blowout win over Seattle.

Prior to that, she had scored at least 20 points in seven of her last 10, including 20 against Golden State.

In a game that should be much closer than the Seattle one was, look for Bueckers to deliver.

Wings vs Valkyries same-game parlay (SGP)

Under 160.5

Paige Bueckers Over 17.5 points

Veronica Burton Under 11.5 points

Golden State's Veronica Burton had just eight points against Seattle, and she’s gone Under 11.5 points in 12 of her last 14 games.

That includes a four-point, three-rebound, five-assist game in the loss to Dallas on June 17.
