The Dallas Wings tip off their WNBA Commissioner’s Cup campaign tonight against the Seattle Storm - but they’ll do so without Paige Bueckers, who remains in the concussion protocol.

That’s just the latest blow for a Dallas team that’s off to a rough 1-6 start this year, and my Wings vs. Storm predictions expect Seattle to cash in, snapping its own three-game skid.

Take a closer look at this June 3 matchup with my free WNBA picks and betting angles.

Will Paige Bueckers play tonight?

No. Paige Bueckers is still dealing with lingering concussion issues and will be out at least another few games.

Wings vs Storm predictions

My Wings vs Storm best bet: Storm -6.5 1H (-115 at bet365)

This veteran-laden Seattle Storm roster knows how to rebound from losses better than most, and this clash with the struggling Dallas Wings provides an ideal chance to get back in the win column.

After pushing the Las Vegas Aces to the wire on Sunday, the Storm should have an easier time tonight, with Dallas’ defense in disarray through the first seven games of the season.

The Wings’ flaws at that end of the court were on full display last week in a pair of losses to the Chicago Sky. Not exactly an offensive juggernaut, the Sky still piled up 191 points across the two contests.

That leads me to laying the 1H points spread with Seattle. There’s a nice balance to the home team’s attack, with Nneka Ogwumike, Ezi Magbegor, Skylar Diggins, and Gabby Williams all chipping in, and I see the Storm making a flying start here.

Seattle handled the Wings in Dallas on May 19, running out to a 56-41 halftime lead, and it’s a tall task for the visitors to keep up without Bueckers’ do-it-all play. The Storm have won the past five meetings between these teams, and they’re 7-3 ATS in the last 10 matchups against the Wings.

With rookie Dominique Malonga finding her groove off the bench, there’s depth for Seattle to call on and, while I’m a little wary of the double-digit game spread, this 1H number offers good value.

Wings vs Storm same-game parlay (SGP)

Storm -6.5 — 1H

Ezi Magbegor Over 7.5 rebounds

Arike Ogunbowale Over 18.5 points

Ezi Magbegor has feasted on the glass across the last three games, piling up 27 rebounds, and I’m grabbing the Over on 7.5 boards for my SGP here.

With the Wings short on scorers beyond Arike Ogunbowale and NaLyssa Smith, don’t count on an efficient field goal percentage for the visitors, and Magbegor finished with eight rebounds in her last outing against Dallas. She’s well placed to dominate if this turns into a rock fight.

High-volume shooters like Ogunbowale always stand out as intriguing prop picks, and I see the Wings’ No.1 option finding her way to the Over on this 18.5 number.

She lit up the Sky for 37 points on Thursday - by far her best outing of the year - and she’s averaging 16 field goal attempts a game. Without Bueckers, that could edge up to 20 shots and an easier path to a 20-point night.
