It’s been a long time coming, but the Las Vegas Aces are seemingly hitting top gear at last, and they’ll go for a seventh straight win this afternoon against the Dallas Wings.

With A’ja Wilson playing at an elite level, the ceiling keeps rising for Becky Hammon’s team, and my Wings vs Aces predictions signal more of the same from last year’s MVP.

Read on for my WNBA picks and betting tips for this August 17 clash.

Wings vs Aces predictions

My Wings vs Aces best bet: A'ja Wilson Over 38.5 points+rebounds+assists (-112 at FanDuel)

It’s been all A’ja Wilson, all the time, for the Las Vegas Aces on this winning stretch, and I’m banking on another monster stat-stuffing performance today against the Dallas Wings.

Where would the Aces be without A’ja Wilson this year? Her overall numbers are impressive in their own right, but her recent surge has hit a whole new level, putting Las Vegas on her back in the process.

Wilson has breezed past this combo prop in three of her last four outings, scoring at will in the paint and crashing the glass.

With 16+ boards in three straight contests, there’s a great floor for this Over, and I don’t see the Dallas frontcourt boxing her out consistently.

Ultimately, though, there’s no bucket-getter quite like Wilson. She’s scored 27+ points in four of her past five outings, and it would be no surprise to see her end up with another 30-15 line for an Aces team that’s played its best basketball at home this season.

With a few assists thrown in for good measure, Wilson is sure to be in the spotlight.

Paige Bueckers pick: Bueckers gets boards

My Paige Bueckers best bet: Over 4.5 rebounds (+106 at FanDuel)

I’m expecting an up-tempo battle today, and that should mean plenty of chances for Paige Bueckers to pad her numbers, particularly with a lengthy Dallas injury report.

Bueckers grabbed five rebounds against the Indiana Fever earlier this week, and it’s going to be all hands on deck for the Wings to slow down Wilson.

Wings vs Aces same-game parlay (SGP)

A'ja Wilson Over 38.5 points+rebounds+assists

Paige Bueckers Over 4.5 rebounds

Over 170

I’m rounding out my SGP with the Over, which has been a winning ticket in eight of the last 10 meetings between these teams. It’s also 7-3 in Las Vegas’ past 10 games.

We saw a 106-80 scoreline when these teams met in July, and a similar total is in play here.
