Sun vs Dream Predictions, Picks & Odds for Today's WNBA Game

Allisha Gray is doing her part in helping execute the Atlanta Dream gameplan of burying their opponent with a barrage of threes. Gray should make her fair share of shots vs. the shoddy Sun, per our WNBA betting picks.

Get set for the first game of a four-game WNBA Sunday slate when the Connecticut Sun meet the Atlanta Dream.

Atlanta guard Allisha Gray has been on fire from downtown, and my Sun vs. Dream predictions expect Gray’s hot hand to continue this afternoon.

Read on as I share my WNBA picks for May 25.

Sun vs Dream predictions

My Sun vs Dream best bet: Allisha Gray Over 2.5 made threes (+132 at FanDuel)

The Atlanta Dream play today on zero nights’ rest after a tough, hard-fought Saturday afternoon victory over Dallas.

Dream guard Allisha Gray continued her assault on WNBA 3-point lines and perimeter defenses like the Connecticut Sun, knocking down four of nine from beyond the arc.

It was the third time in four games that Gray hit at least three from long range, and the third time this season she launched at least nine 3-point attempts.

Atlanta attempts 31 triples per night. It's how they feel they can win games, and Gray is knocking down 38% of her 8.5 attempts for the Dream.

The Sun allow only 22 attempts from downtown, but opponents shoot an exploitable 34% from deep against the Sun. The Sun will struggle to contain the Dream’s 3-point barrage, and I’m betting that Gray knocks down at least three.

Atlanta might be playing on zero nights’ rest, but I’m not worried about a lack of playing time. They're down to a 6-7 player rotation, and Gray will get enough minutes (35) and attempts (8.5) to land at least three against a shaky Sun perimeter defense.

Sun vs Dream same-game parlay (SGP)

Allisha Gray 3+ made threes

Brionna Jones 10+ rebounds

Marina Mabrey 2+ made threes

Brionna Jones has snared 10+ rebounds in all four Atlanta games. She’s averaging a dozen rebounds per night, including five offensive caroms, and meets a middling Sun rebounding squad on both ends of the hardwood.

Meanwhile, Marina Mabrey is heating up. After a sluggish start, Mabrey went 4 of 12 from downtown on Friday against Minnesota. Atlanta allows 36% shooting from downtown, enabling “Money Mabrey” to make two triples.
