The Seattle Storm visit the Minnesota Lynx tonight at the Target Center for another matchup in this young WNBA season.

Skylar Diggins is dropping dimes so far this year, and my Storm vs. Lynx predictions will dive into why that could continue as Seattle looks to stay hot. Read more in my WNBA picks for Tuesday, May 27.

Storm vs Lynx predictions

My Storm vs Lynx best bet: Skylar Diggins Over 7.5 assists (-105 at bet365)

Skylar Diggins is off to a great start in her second campaign with the Seattle Storm, averaging an impressive 19 points, 8.8 assists, and 2.0 rebounds while shooting 45.5% from 3-point land. I’ll focus on her playmaking tonight because Diggins has been picking apart opponents.

She’s cashed the Over in dimes three consecutive appearances, dishing out eight, 14, and nine during that span. Diggins has always been a talented passer, but her numbers so far are above her career average of 5.2 assists per game. She’s playing with a different level of confidence and getting everyone involved.

The Minnesota Lynx are allowing 18 assists per game, and although they’re unbeaten, I love how Diggins is passing the rock. She’ll do her part in helping Seattle potentially hand Minnesota their first defeat.

Storm vs Lynx same-game parlay (SGP)

Skylar Diggins Over 7.5 assists

Napheesa Collier Over 22.5 points

Skylar Diggins Over 16.5 points

A big reason for the Lynx’s dominant start is the brilliance of Napheesa Collier. She’s been unstoppable through four games, averaging 29.5 ppg while shooting 53% from downtown. Collier just went off for 33 in a win over the Sun last week, and she’s comfortably hammered the Over in points in every contest this season.

Collier had success against Seattle last year, too. Across three appearances, the four-time All-Star averaged 22.7 points. She’s one of the best players in the WNBA and continues to play like an MVP candidate.

We’re going to stick with Diggins for the last part of my SGP. As previously mentioned, she’s also putting up fantastic scoring numbers. Before collecting just 10 points in a win over the Aces on Sunday, Diggins cashed the Over in points in three games in a row.

Diggins posted 24 against the Mercury, 21 against the Wings, and another 21 points in the season opener against Phoenix. She averaged 17.3 ppg on the road last season compared to 13 at home. Diggins is going to be doing it all tonight against a tough opponent.
