Fresh off a 114-77 road win over the Seattle Storm on Thursday, the Las Vegas Aces (-15.5) welcome Seattle to Michelob Ultra Arena tonight, looking to sweep the season series.
My Storm vs. Aces prediction and WNBA picks expect another stellar scoring performance from Jackie Young after she dropped a career-high 35 points in her last game.
Read on to see why I’m betting on Young and A’ja Wilson to guide the Aces to a comfortable home victory in a low-scoring contest on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. ET on USA Network.
TOP PICK
Storm vs Aces prediction: Jackie Young Over 19.5 points
I’m not chasing points after Jackie Young’s 35-point outing, as she’s been an elite scorer all season. The veteran Las Vegas Aces guard is averaging a career-best 19.3 points per game, and she’s scored 20+ in 22 of 40 games.
Young was on a roll before the FIBA World Cup, and she picked up right where she left off on Thursday. Over her last 11, Young has averaged 24.1 points and scored 20+ 10 times with superb shooting splits.
Young finished with 29 in her first tilt with the Seattle Storm, and I’ll play this one up to 22.5.

Storm vs Aces combo
The Aces are still jockeying for playoff position, so they won’t take their foot off the pedal. The Storm have scored 80 points or fewer in five of their last six games, covering the spread only twice in that span. Seattle ranks 14th in road scoring at just 79.5 ppg, while Vegas has averaged 89.7 at home.
The Storm have multiple key injuries and sport the worst record in the W. They’re focused on the future and have no real motivation to play competitively. I’ll play the Aces to 16.5 and the Under down to 170.5.
Storm vs Aces combo
- Jackie Young Over 19.5 points
- Aces -15.5
- Under 175.5

Storm vs Aces player prop: A'ja Wilson Over 9.5 rebounds
I targeted Wilson’s rebound line at the same number on Thursday, and she fell short with seven at Seattle. Wilson has averaged 10.2 boards at home compared to 8.6 on the road, so I’ll go back to the well as she returns home.
Wilson has corralled 10 rebounds in 10 of 18 home games, and she finished with 12 in her first matchup with the Storm at Michelob Ultra Arena.
Seattle has surrendered the second-most rebounds per game (36.5), giving Wilson a phenomenal matchup.
Play to 10.5.
