The Chicago Sky aren’t playoff bound this season, but that doesn’t mean they won’t try to earn their 10th win of the season when they travel south to face the Phoenix Mercury on Thursday.
My WNBA picks and Sky vs. Mercury predictions hone in on a combo line for Angel Reese and a scoring line for Kamilla Cardoso as the Sky keep things close out in the desert.

My Sky vs Mercury best bet: Angel Reese 30+ points + rebounds + assists (-110 at DraftKings)
Angel Reese continues to get it done as a scorer, rebounder and facilitator, so I’m going back to the well in Thursday’s matchup with the Phoenix Mercury.
In four games since returning from a seven-game absence, Reese has averaged 30.6 PRA and hit the Over on this line three times. She’s been ultra productive as of late, but the superstar forward has been excellent throughout the 2025 campaign.
On the season, Reese has averaged 27 PRA at home and 33.3 on the road. Those home/road splits are advantageous for tonight’s clash at PHX Arena.
Reese has gone for 30+ PRA in 17 of 27 games overall, including 11 of 15 on the road. She’s reached that mark in each of her last two road contests.
Reese cashed the Over on this line in her only road matchup with the Mercury, posting 31 PRA in that game. Conversely, she finished with 13 at home.
This combo line is set comfortably low, and I’ll happily bet the Over as Reese continues to shine on the road.

Kamilla Cardoso is enjoying a productive 2025, and she’s finished with at least 14 points in 15 of 32 games overall. Across her last six, she’s picked it up on offense, going for 17.8 points.
In that span, the South Carolina product has hit the Over five times, including three straight. She’s averaged 15 points across three matchups with the Mercury and scored 14 or more points in two of them.
Phoenix has covered in two of three head-to-head matchups with Chicago this season, but the Sky have kept things competitive as of late. They’ve covered the spread in three of four games since Reese returned, and her presence has yielded positive results for the Sky.
Over Reese’s last 14 games, the Chicago Sky have lost by 12 or more points only three times. I’ll take them to cover this double-digit spread on the road tonight.
