WNBA Player Props & Best Bets Today for September 3: Plum Putting it All Out There

Kelsey Plum's consistent usage is enough to inspire confidence that she can rise to meet the challenge tonight against the Dream, and we're targeting the Sparks star to do a little bit of everything.

With only a week remaining in the WNBA regular season, many nightly games are taking on added importance, and we need to consider that when picking our player props.

I’m expecting a big night out of Los Angeles Sparks star Kelsey Plum as they desperately chase a playoff position. On the other hand, I see value on the Under for two young stars that are still putting up inconsistent stat lines.

Let’s take a closer look at tonight’s best prop bets in my free WNBA picks for Wednesday, September 3.

WNBA player prop bets for September 3

  • Sparks Plum o25.5 PRA (+100)
  • Sparks Brink u5.5 points (+100)
  • Sky Reese u12.5 rebounds (+105)

Kelsey Plum Over 25.5 points + rebounds + assist

(+100 at BetMGM)

The Los Angeles Sparks are fighting for one of the final postseason berths as we enter the tail end of the regular season, and Kelsey Plum is at the center of that effort. Plum leads the Sparks in both points (19.9 per game) and assists (5.8), and Los Angeles will be pushing her and its other stars to the limit to push for a playoff spot.

That means keeping Plum on the court for as many minutes as possible. She hasn’t played fewer than 33 minutes in a game since July 24, and is second in the league in minutes played this year. We don’t have to worry about Plum getting opportunities to add to her PRA throughout tonight’s game.

Plum has gone Under 25.5 PRA in four of her last five games, but I’m not going to worry too much about that short-term trend, especially since she’s been quite close to that total in those contests. Overall, Plum is averaging 28.9 PRA for the season, and she put up 35 PRA against the Atlanta Dream in the only meeting between these teams this season

Cameron Brink Under 5.5 points

(+100 at FanDuel)

Since returning from her ACL tear, Cameron Brink has been putting up some good – if inconsistent – minutes off the bench for the Sparks. She’s not getting a ton of playing time, typically 12 to 17 minutes per night, but has averaged 5.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per game this season.

Brink is coming off a nine-point performance against the Seattle Storm, one of her better offensive offerings since her return, despite once again only playing 13 minutes. But while she’s occasionally put up reasonably big stat lines, that hasn’t been the expectation or the typical output.

Overall, Brink has only gone Over 5.5 points in five of her 14 games. And whether it’s for matchup reasons or pure coincidence, three of those high-scoring performances have come against Seattle, while she’s only gone above five points twice against anyone else.

Atlanta is one of the top defensive teams in the league, allowing only 77.1 PPG on the year. With limited playing time in a tough scoring environment, the Under is the play on Brink tonight.

Angel Reese Under 12.5 rebounds

(+110 at DraftKings)

Angel Reese has clearly established herself as the top rebounder in the WNBA, averaging 12.6 boards per game, but that doesn’t mean the Over is always the right play for the young Chicago Sky star, whose game has been evolving a bit this year.

Reese has improved her shooting from 39.1% last year to 46.3% in 2025, scoring more points even though she shoots the ball less. That’s come alongside a slight dip in her rebounding totals, especially on the offensive end, probably due as much to changes in her usage as a drop in the “mebounds” she’s been criticized for collecting.

Reese’s rebounding totals are all over the map, so while her average is right near her total tonight, she more frequently ends up in the 9 to 11 range. Since returning from injury, she’s only grabbed 13+ rebounds twice in six games. Overall, she’s only hit that total in 12 of 29 contests this season.

To put it simply, it takes a lot to get to 13 rebounds in any given game, even for Reese. On any given night, she’s proven herself more likely to hit the Under on a 12.5-rebound total, and I’m certainly not turning down plus money on that bet. Take the Under here if you can get even money or better.

Successful sports betting is about consistently beating the closing line value, which requires finding spots where one book is offering odds far better than the rest of the market and jumping on those opportunities.
