Tuesday’s busy WNBA slate is juxtaposed with a standalone clash on Wednesday.
The Las Vegas Aces visit the Golden State Valkyries at Chase Center as the teams clash for the fourth time this season. Fresh off a blowout loss to the Aces, can the Valkyries get back on track as they return home following a five-game road trip?
My favorite WNBA player props and WNBA picks for Wednesday, August 6, go back to the well for a reliable Veronica Burton combo prop and look for A’ja Wilson to thrive as a scorer and rebounder. I’m also looking for Jewell Loyd to stay productive off the bench.
WNBA player prop bets for August 6
Burton o19.5 PRA (-110)
Loyd o1.5 threes (-102)
Wilson double-double (-125)
Today's best WNBA player props bets
Veronica Burton Over 19.5 points + rebounds + assissts (-110 at bet365)
Veronica Burton continues to pile up counting stats, but her combo line remains appealingly low at just 19.5. On the season, she’s averaging 20.2 points + rebounds + assists, including a 21.1 PRA average at home compared to a 19.6 on the road.
She’s hit the Over on this line in six of 12 home games and posted exactly 19 PRA in two more. Burton has been phenomenal against the Las Vegas Aces, averaging 23 PRA across three matchups and posting at least 20 twice.
Las Vegas’ defense is far from intimidating, and Burton should get a boost as she returns home from a five-game road trip and, most recently, a 24-point blowout loss to Las Vegas.

Jewell Loyd Over 1.5 threes (-102 at FanDuel)
Jewell Loyd’s move to the bench has proven highly beneficial for her production. Across her last four games, she’s averaged 16.8 points and 3.5 triples while shooting 51.2% from the field and 43.8% from beyond the arc.
Loyd has knocked down at least two triples in three of those, including seven against the Golden State Valkyries in her last outing. The veteran has found success against the V’s this season, hitting multiple treys in two of three matchups.
She’s knocked down two or more triples in 15 of 29 games overall, and I expect her to stay hot from beyond the arc tonight. Loyd may not hit seven threes again, but she can certainly get two.

A'ja Wilson to record a double-double (-125 at FanDuel)
Las Vegas superstar A'ja Wilson is averaging 21.3 points and 9.2 boards this season, and she’s got 12 double-doubles to her credit across 25 appearances. Two of those have come against Golden State, and she’s averaged 21.7 points and 12 rebounds in three matchups with the Valkyries.
Wilson has been even better across her last nine games, posting 22.4 points and 10 boards per game while notching six double-doubles. Fresh off a 14/14 performance against Golden State, I expect her to stay productive.
