The marquee names jump off the screen in tonight’s WNBA slate – and we’ve got some must-see matchups on the docket that could swing a tight playoff race.

One night on from Paige Bueckers’ 44-point gem in L.A., the hype continues with contenders going toe-to-toe here, headlined by the Minnesota Lynx facing the Atlanta Dream and capped off with another clash between the Phoenix Mercury and the red-hot Las Vegas Aces.

There’s a lot to unpack in our WNBA picks, so read on for my Top 3 picks for the August 21 action.

WNBA player prop bets for August 21

  • Dream Gray Over 23.5 points + rebounds + assists (-120)
  • Liberty Fiebich Over 1.5 3-pointers (+118)
  • Aces Wilson Over 24.5 points (-105)

Today's best WNBA player props bets

Allisha Gray Over 23.5 points + rebounds + assists (-120 at bet365)

After starting August with a 5-0 surge, the Atlanta Dream have dropped two of their last three contests, and they’ve got the ruthless Minnesota Lynx on deck tonight. But Allisha Gray continues to be a props magnet with her do-it-all game, and I like this combo Over here.

Gray sneaked past this 23.5 number earlier in the week against the Las Vegas Aces, but it’s generally been smoother sailing for the Atlanta guard, who’s scored 22+ points in four of her last eight outings.

Naturally, her scoring stands out (18.5 PPG) but don’t sleep on her work on the glass, with 5+ rebounds in seven of her past 10 contests, including 11 boards against the Seattle Storm last week.

Plus, the Dream are still without Jordin Canada in the backcourt, and that means Gray will be at the controls for a steady assists count.

Atlanta will need Gray’s A-game to hang with the Lynx, and I see her answering the call.

Leonie Fiebich Over 1.5 3-pointers (+118 at FanDuel)

The New York Liberty have had no choice but to roll with a shortened rotation lately as they wait for Breanna Stewart, Isabelle Harrison and Nyara Sabally to return – and that presents some interesting player prop targets, including Leonie Fiebich, who’s putting together another solid year for New York.

I see Fiebich showing off her sharpshooting again tonight against the Chicago Sky, and she’s cashed the Over on 1.5 3-pointers in five of her last seven games. At plus odds, this prop offers real value.

Fiebich’s 43% mark from downtown as a rookie was exceptional, but she’s on pace to better that in 2025, knocking down her triples at a 44% clip so far.

The life of a spot-up shooter around Sabrina Ionescu, Natasha Cloud and Jonquel Jones is pretty sweet.

While Fiebich isn’t yet a high-volume shooter, her looks are often wide open, and she should once again be the beneficiary of the playmaking around her tonight.

A’ja Wilson Over 24.5 points (-105 at DraftKings)

With eight straight wins, the Las Vegas Aces are suddenly just a half-game back from the No. 2 seed – and this is a legit playoff threat as long as A’ja Wilson is playing at an MVP level.

Wilson is coming off her latest monster stat line in Tuesday’s victory over the Atlanta Dream, tallying 32 points and 12 rebounds, and I’m predicting another big scoring night here against the Phoenix Mercury.

She’s poured in 30+ points in four of her last five games – and she’s gone past this 24.5 number in six of her past seven contests. That includes 30 points against the Mercury last Friday, sparked by five offensive rebounds and an activity level that overwhelmed the Phoenix frontcourt.

There have been plenty of trips to the charity stripe too, with 46 free throws across her last four outings, and those are easy points on the road to this Over.

Maybe A’ja has just been slow-playing this season, but she’s in top gear now. Look for Becky Hammon to ride the hot hand, and Wilson should be knocking on the door of 20+ shots again tonight.
