Riding the kind of start that feels ominous for the rest of the league, the New York Liberty are the headline act in Thursday’s two-game slate as they chase a fifth straight victory.

The Liberty stomped past the Golden State Valkyries on Tuesday, and the champs are heavy favorites again in tonight’s rematch at Barclays Center. Meanwhile, the Dallas Wings and Chicago Sky collide with both teams trying to reverse rough starts to the season.

My WNBA picks target key contributors in both matchups for May 29.

Today's best WNBA player props bets

Leonie Fiebich Over 6.5 points (-110 at bet365)

Leonie Fiebich rarely looked out of place last year as a rookie, and there should be a path to expanding her game this season, even with all the star power on the New York Liberty roster.

Coming off an efficient 3-for-4 shooting night against the Golden State Valkyries on Tuesday, Fiebich’s points O/U is set at just 6.5 for this evening’s rematch, and that number seems a touch low for such a talented 3-point gunner.

Fiebich made her triples at a 43% clip in 2024, and she’s right on that same pace through the first four games this year. That’s the formula I’m banking on this evening — and the do-it-all wing dropped in 7+ points in two of her past three contests (she played just seven minutes in the other due to a minor injury).

Defenses have to pick their poison against this stacked New York offense, and that often leaves Fiebich with wide-open looks. Look for the German to make a fast start here and nail the Over.

Arike Ogunbowale Over 16.5 points (-110 at bet365)

The Paige Bueckers buzz has papered over a shaky start for the Dallas Wings, but Arike Ogunbowale is the likeliest scorer to lead them out of their current 1-4 hole.

Ogunbowale averaged 22.2 ppg last year while shouldering a huge 38.6 minutes per game workload, so it’s been a little alarming to see the Dallas guard deliver such erratic numbers through the first two weeks. She’s served up two single-digit scoring games to go with three strong efforts, but she needed 14 shots for her 19 points on Tuesday against the Connecticut Sun.

Even so, I’m taking the Over on 16.5 points for Ogunbowale here, with a favorable matchup looming against the 0-4 Chicago Sky.

Chicago has given up 90+ points in all four contests this season, and that sets the stage for Ogunbowale to have a monster night. While she knocked down three 3-pointers in the win over Connecticut, it’s her mid-range arsenal that holds the key to this Over.

Ariel Atkins Over 1.5 threes (+100 at BetMGM)

Coming off her best game of the season, Ariel Atkins could be the X-factor for the Sky tonight at Wintrust Arena as they chase their first win. Atkins finished with a 7-for-15 shooting line on the way to 21 points against the Phoenix Mercury on Tuesday, and it’s her 3-point stroke that I’m focused on.

A career 36% shooter from downtown, she’s made 2+ triples in three of her four outings this year, and I’m taking the plus odds for that trend to continue here against a Wings team that’s allowing the second-highest 3-point percentage this season (39%).

Though Chicago’s rock-bottom defense has been a disaster, Dallas hasn’t exactly been stingy on that end of the floor either, and Atkins was assertive last time out, leading the Sky in field-goal attempts.

Her minutes have been capped due to a few blowout losses through the first two weeks, but this is a value prop pick as long as this clash hangs in the balance down the stretch.
