Sunday’s WNBA slate features two potential closeout games. The Las Vegas Aces can punch their ticket to the Finals with a win over the Indiana Fever in the early window, and the Phoenix Mercury can do the same with a victory over the Minnesota Lynx in the nightcap.
My favorite WNBA player props and WNBA picks for September 28 target Lexie Hull for a second straight game, and look to Chelsea Gray and Kahleah Copper to make an impact for their respective teams.
WNBA player prop bets for September 28
Hull 10+ pts (-106)
Gray o5.5 asts (-135)
Copper o15.5 pts (+100)
Lexie Hull 10+ points
Lexie Hull has been highly productive on offense as of late, yet this scoring line can be had at -106, making it an excellent value.
She continues to pick up the slack for the shorthanded Indiana Fever, and she’s averaged 9.9 points across her last 15 games, all starts.
She’s averaged 10.7 points across her last six home games, and I expect her to stay hot in a win-or-go-home Game 4.
I won’t bank on another 60% shooting night, but she should have no problem clearing this modest line given her strong play and increased opportunities.

Chelsea Gray Over 5.5 assists
Chelsea Gray averaged 5.4 dimes during the regular season, but she’s picked up her playmaking considerably in the postseason.
Across six playoff games, she’s averaged 7.2 assists, hitting the Over in five of six and two straight.
Gray has racked up at least six assists in 24 of 50 games overall, including 12 of 24 on the road.
With just a single win separating her team from the Finals, I expect Gray to continue getting her teammates involved at a high level.

Kahleah Copper Over 15.5 points
Kahleah Copper has been electric on offense against the Minnesota Lynx, and I’m counting on another elite scoring performance as the Phoenix Mercury look to complete the series upset with a win in Game 4.
She missed all three of the Mercury’s regular season matchups with Minnesota, but she’s scored at least 16 in two of three, including a 21-point showing in Game 3.
Copper, who averaged 15.6 points per game this season, is finding her rhythm at just the right time, making this an appealing Over.
