The WNBA is heading into the final weeks of regular-season action with five Sunday games on tap.
There’s nothing more exciting than a 3-point bucket, and my favorite WNBA player props include a trio of ladies who love shooting the triple.
Read on for my WNBA picks for Sunday, August 17.
WNBA player prop bets for August 17
Plum o2.5 threes (+110)
Copper o1.5 threes (+108)
Gray o2.5 threes (+154)
Today's best WNBA player props bets
Kelsey Plum Over 2.5 threes (+110 at FanDuel)
Los Angeles Sparks guard Kelsey Plum isn’t afraid to let it fly from downtown and has the perfect matchup to make at least three triples against the Washington Mystics.
The Mystics boast a solid defensive unit, but they’ve allowed 22-for-53 shooting from downtown across their last two games and at least eight made threes per contest across their previous five games.
Plum knocks down 37% of her nearly seven attempts from long range this season. She’s made at least a trio of triples in four of her previous seven and should drop at least three on the Mystics today.

Kahleah Copper Over 1.5 threes (+108 at FanDuel)
Phoenix Mercury guard Kahleah Copper is making 41% from downtown this season and has a strong chance to make at least two triples tonight against the Seattle Storm.
The Storm doesn’t switch well at all defensively and have allowed at least nine made threes on a paltry 22 attempts for 43% in their previous five games.
WNBA assist leader Alyssa Thomas can pick apart leaky perimeter defenses like Seattle’s in her sleep, and I expect Copper to be one of the primary beneficiaries of Thomas’ selflessness.
Copper has made two or more triples in two of her last five and is a good bet to land two or more against the leaky Storm defense.

Allisha Gray Over 2.5 threes (+154 at FanDuel)
Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray is one of the best 3-point shooters in the WNBA, and she'll showcase that against the Golden State Valkyries.
Gray is coming off one of her worst shooting nights. She scored only 12 points on 33% shooting from the field and went 0-for-2 from downtown on Friday night against Seattle.
Golden State has defended the arc well in its previous five games against the league's worst snipers, but its overall 32% allowed is too leaky for the Valkyries to overcome against Gray and the Dream.
Gray has made three or more treys in four of her previous seven games, and the plus money is superb for her made threes prop.
