The Storm can't contain Angel Reese tonight, per our WNBA expert.

It’s a relatively quiet WNBA schedule today with just three games on the slate, but there are still outstanding WNBA player props available to bettors in these matchups.

I’m focusing on how we can take advantage of opponents’ weakness today, with Kahleah Copper, Kelsey Mitchell, and Angel Reese all in great position to hit Overs in their areas of expertise.

Find out why I’m backing these plays with my free WNBA picks for Saturday, June 27.

Kahleah Copper Over 21.5 points

Kahleah Copper is putting up 19.7 ppg for the Phoenix Mercury this season, the second-highest total of her career. While she hasn’t found her shooting touch in 2026 — she’s hitting a career-low 38.0% of her shots — she’s getting to the line more often than ever, where she’s hitting 82.6% of her free throws.

Copper has averaged 26.4 ppg over her last five games, including a 28-point outburst against the Indiana Fever on Wednesday night.

Today, she gets to face off against a Toronto Tempo team that likes to play fast and allows opponents to put up an average of 92.1 ppg. A fast game with shoddy defense will be just what Copper needs to hit her scoring Over.

Kelsey Mitchell Over 2.5 made threes

Kelsey Mitchell has been a reliable sharpshooter for the Indiana Fever, hitting multiple threes in nine of her last 10 games.

She’ll take on an even more prominent role in the Indiana offense tonight, as Caitlin Clark will be sitting out with a back injury, leaving Mitchell and Aliyah Boston as the only reliable scoring options for the Fever.

The Los Angeles Sparks are another team that struggles defensively, allowing a league-worst 93.3 ppg on the year. Opponents of the Sparks have a 54.5% eFG% — the highest mark against any team in the league — and take looks from deep on 34.5% of their shots.

I’m backing Mitchell to take advantage and make Over 2.5 threes tonight.

Angel Reese Over 25.5 points + rebounds

Angel Reese continues to put up big numbers for the Atlanta Dream, where she seems to be a good fit for a team that’s out to a hot start — back-to-back losses to the Golden State Valkyries aside.

Reese has four double-doubles in her last six games while averaging 14.7 points and 11.8 rebounds per game on the season.

The Seattle Storm aren’t going to fold on defense like some of the other opponents I’ve spotlighted today, but they are very weak on the boards. They have a league-low 21.2% offensive rebounding rate, and are 12th in overall rebounding rate (46.8%).

There’s nobody on the Seattle roster who can contend with Reese when it comes to collecting misses on both ends of the court. Throw in the fact that Reese has scored 10+ points in 15 straight games now, and I love her combined points + rebounds prop tonight.

Since joining Covers in 2022, Ed has offered his sports betting analysis primarily on MLB, NFL, college football, and college basketball games, but is willing to take on any sport.

His betting strategy focuses more on finding line value based on deviations from the market rather than traditional handicapping, primarily shopping between DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics in his home state of Connecticut, though he’s not afraid to do deep game analysis to find profitable bets at any book.

Outside of gambling, Ed is an avid curler who competes in mixed doubles on the World Curling Tour and runs a popular curling YouTube channel, Chess on Ice. That experience has come in handy during the Olympics, when he has proven to be a successful curling bettor as well.

Ed's advice to new bettors is to always open multiple sportsbook accounts and check the odds at each before placing any bet. Successful sports betting is about consistently beating the closing line value, which requires finding spots where one book is offering odds far better than the rest of the market and jumping on those opportunities.
