It might just be a light two-game slate Friday night in the WNBA, but it’s packed with heavy hitters, as three of the league’s top four teams all hit the hardwood.

The top-seeded Minnesota Lynx are in Gotham to battle the No. 4 seeded New York Liberty, while the second-seeded Las Vegas Aces host the Chicago Sky.

That’s plenty of star power and WNBA player props to target. Check out my free WNBA picks below for Friday, July 3.

Olivia Miles Over 18.5 points (-112)

Forget runaway ROY – Minnesota Lynx rookie Olivia Miles is now in the mix for WNBA MVP.

Miles is averaging 18.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists, and has Minnesota – who haven’t played a single minute with star Napheesa Collier – at a league best 15-4.

Her scoring was cranked up in June, putting up 23.1 points per game on 66.3% shooting from the field and 57.1% from 3-point range.

She’s cracked the 20-point plateau in seven of her last 10, and gone Over her 18.5 scoring line in nine of 11 games overall.

The New York Liberty will be seeing her for the first time, and they’ll have the same trouble containing Miles as the rest of the league has.

Jackie Young Over 2.5 3-pointers (+110)

A’ja Wilson suffered a minor ankle injury and will be a game-time decision Friday, but with blowout possibilities against the lowly Chicago Sky, she may be sitting after some light work.

Instead, we’ll focus on Jackie Young, who is shooting a sturdy 38.6% from distance on the year, and she’s been especially lethal of late, drilling at least three triples in four of her last six.

Chicago has seen her marksmanship up close, as Young went 4-for-6 from 3-point range against them on June 28, part of a 28-point night.

Look for her to carry the offense while the Las Vegas Aces try to protect Wilson and that wonky ankle.

Sabrina Ionescu Over 4.5 assists (+120)

After being completely shut down by Golden State, Sabrina Ionescu rebounded with her best game of the year, lighting up Vegas in the Commissioner Cup Championship with 26 points, five rebounds and five assists.

The next test is the league-leading Lynx, and I like her to hit that five-assist total again, which pays out at +120 odds.

Ionescu has averaged 6.2 assists per game against the Lynx in her career, and has had at least five dimes in a game in 12 of 16 career matchups.

While getting healthy has held her back to start the year (just nine games played to date), it appears Sabrina is all systems go now.
