Friday’s WNBA slate features two games on tap, and both offer some excellent player prop values. The injury-plagued Dallas Wings take on the Atlanta Dream at 7:30 pm ET, and the Indiana Fever head to Crypto.com Arena to take on the Los Angeles Sparks in the nightcap at 10:00 pm ET.
My favorite WNBA picks for August 29 feature scoring lines for three players who have been hot on offense and get the benefit of facing subpar defenses.
WNBA player prop bets for August 29
Gray Over 16.5 points (-118)
Boston Over 15.5 points (-106)
Plum Over 20.5 points (-108)
Allisha Gray Over 16.5 points
Allisha Gray is averaging a career-high 18.7 points per game this season, and she’s scored at least 17 in 21 of 38 appearances. Gray has reached that scoring milestone in 12 of 18 games at home, including four of her last six in Atlanta.
In three matchups with the Dallas Wings this season, Gray finished with 13, 15, and 27 points, and the 27-point performance was at home. The Wings have allowed the second-most points per game this season (87.8) and the second-most points across the last 10 games (91.4). Expect Gray to shine in this favorable home matchup.

Aliyah Boston Over 15.5 points
Aliyah Boston dropped 27 points in her last game out, and she’ll look to build on that monster performance against the W’s most generous defense. Boston is averaging a career-best 15.5 points this season, and she’s scored 15 or more in 20 of 38 appearances.
Boston has scored at least 14 points in seven straight contests, going for 15 or more in four of them. In three matchups with the Los Angeles Sparks, she scored 15, 23, and 12 points. The Sparks have surrendered a league-worst 88.6 points per game this season and a whopping 91.9 across their last 10. Boston should feast here.

Kelsey Plum Over 20.5 points
Kelsey Plum has been phenomenal in her first season with the Sparks, averaging a career-high 20.4 points per game. Through 35 games with LA, she’s hit for 20 or more 23 times, including 12 of 17 at home.
Plum finished with at least 20 points in all three of her matchups with the Indiana Fever this season. Indiana has allowed the fifth-most points per game to opponents at 82.8 on the season, but that number has crept up to 86.8 over the last 10. Plum has scored at least 20 points in six straight, and I’m counting on her extending that streak at home tonight.
