With just two games on the schedule for the WNBA tonight, I’m taking a close look at the matchups to make my player prop picks for Friday.

I’m looking at Allisha Gray to get the better of Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky tonight, while also backing rookie Paige Bueckers to continue her recent scoring binge.

Read on to see the full analysis of these prop bets in my free WNBA picks for Friday, June 13.

WNBA player prop bets for June 13

  • Dream Gray Over 17.5 points (-125)
  • Sky Reese Under 25.5 points + rebounds + assists (-105)
  • Wings Paige Bueckers Over 16.5 points (+100)

Today's best WNBA player props bets

Dream Allisha Gray Over 17.5 points (-125 at FanDuel)

Allisha Gray is one of the leading scorers in the WNBA so far this year, averaging 20.4 ppg. And while that’s a career high for Gray, that doesn’t necessarily mean that the Atlanta Dream star is set for regression.

Gray is shooting the ball at a 50.4% clip so far this year, while also taking the highest volume of shots she’s ever taken in her career. She’s also shooting the ball more frequently and better from three-point range, hitting 42.3% of her attempts from deep.

That production has helped fuel a Dream offense that ranks fourth in the WNBA at 83.8 ppg and third in offensive rating (105.5). There’s no reason to expect those numbers to drop tonight against a Chicago Sky team that is allowing a league-worst 89.5 ppg and 40.0% shooting from beyond the arc.

This looks like a dream matchup (no pun intended) for Gray, and it comes right as she’s playing some of the best basketball of her career. With a total set at 17.5 points – a number she has hit in five of her last six games – I’m confident in taking the Over.

Sky Angel Reese Under 25.5 points + rebounds + assists (-105 at BetMGM)

There’s perhaps no player more polarizing in the WNBA today than Angel Reese. The second-year Chicago Sky forward leads the league in rebounding, pulling in 12.1 boards per game. But she’s shooting just 35.8% from the floor – down significantly from an already low 39.1% clip in her rookie year – exasperating criticism of her scoring ability.

That’s not all on Reese, who is asked to do a lot of heavy lifting for a Sky team that ranks second to last in scoring (76.0 ppg) and dead last in points allowed per game. But it remains true that solid offensive performances like Tuesday’s against the New York Liberty – in which she scored 17 points on 8-of-13 shooting – have been fleeting.

There aren’t many good matchups for Chicago, but Atlanta is still one of the toughest teams for Reese and the Sky to find success against, particularly when it comes to stuffing the stat sheet.

The Dream are merely average on defense on a possession basis, but also like to slow the game to a crawl, ranking near the bottom of the WNBA in most pace metrics. That will limit Reese’s opportunities to pick up an absurd number of rebounds tonight, and I don’t expect her scoring or a handful of assists to make up the difference. I’m taking the Under on her combined total.

Wings Paige Bueckers Over 16.5 points (+100 at BetRivers)

The Dallas Wings are in the middle of what will be a lost season, but rookie Paige Bueckers is living up to expectations. So far, the former Connecticut Huskies standout is averaging 17.6 ppg, punctuated by a 35-point outburst against the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday.

While that’s an outlier so far in Bueckers’ young career, she’s been showing increasing effectiveness as a scorer as she settles into her WNBA career. Over her last three games, Bueckers is averaging 20.3 ppg, and has shot an incredible 67.5% from the field during that stretch.

The Wings could be in for another tough night on Friday, as they will visit the Las Vegas Aces. But outside of their MVP-caliber anchor in A’ja Wilson, the Aces haven’t been great this year. A combination of poor defense and a fast pace of play has seen Las Vegas allow 83.9 ppg to opponents.

That’s likely to play into Bueckers’ hands, as the Wings like to push the pace and run themselves into high-scoring games. With lots of points on tap, I’m taking Bueckers to continue her scoring binge with the Over tonight.
