The Washington Mystics are 10-10 against the spread this season but have fallen by the wayside lately.
Washington has failed to cover in four straight contests ahead of its upcoming road game against the Storm. However, playing winning basketball hasn’t been a problem for the underdogs.
Washington is entering Sunday riding a two-game winning streak and has consistently played well when the opposing team is favored so far this season. The Mystics have covered in seven of the 12 games they’ve entered as underdogs.
They took the Dream down to the wire in a one-point road loss as 9.5-point 'dogs, and beat the Aces outright when catching 8.5 points in two of their three most recent games in this situation.
I expect Washington to come out and compete against a Seattle Storm team that has failed to cover as favorites in three straight home games.
