Following a four-game homestand, the Washington Mystics travel south to face the Atlanta Dream at Gateway Center on Sunday afternoon. Washington has lost four of six and will look to get back on track against a shorthanded Dream team that has won four of its last six.

My Mystics vs. Dream predictions and WNBA picks love the value on Jordin Canada’s assists line and Allisha Gray’s triples prop. Read on to find out how I’m betting these props and who I expect to cover the spread on Sunday, August 3.

Mystics vs Dream predictions

My Mystics vs Dream best bet: Jordin Canada Over 5.5 assists (-150 at bet365)

Jordin Canada missed the first three games of the season due to a right knee injury, and she was brought back slowly by the Atlanta Dream. Over her first eight appearances of 2025, Canada averaged just 3.6 assists in 22.1 minutes per contest.

Over the last 12, Canada has returned to playing her usual allotment of starter’s minutes, logging 32.7 per game while dishing 7.1 assists in that span. In those 12 games, Canada has hit the Over on this assists line 10 times.

She’s been great as a facilitator at home, handing out eight dimes per game at Gateway Center compared to just 6.2 across all other venues. Canada has dished six or more dimes in four of her last five at home, including a season-high 11 in Friday’s blowout win over Phoenix.

Given her strong work as a facilitator as of late, the short odds on this line aren’t surprising. I’m intrigued by betting the alt line of 6.5 at +125, but I’m content taking the standard offering at -150 for a high sense of security.

Mystics vs Dream same-game parlay (SGP)

Jordin Canada Over 5.5 assists

Allisha Gray Over 2.5 3-pointers

Dream -6

We can make up for the short odds on Canada’s assists line with long odds on Allisha Gray’s 3-pointers line. At +125, this is a nice prop to include in our three-leg parlay given her success from beyond the arc.

Gray is averaging a career-best 2.5 3-pointers per game on 40.6% shooting from downtown. She’s canned at least three triples in four of her last six, including a season-high seven in his last game out. Gray has averaged 4.7 triples in three games against the Washington Mystics this season, hitting the Over twice.

Despite the absence of Brittney Griner and potentially Rhyne Howard, the Dream are the better squad, and they’ve covered in three of their last six and in 15 of 28 games on the season. Washington is 13-14 ATS this season, and the Mystics have covered in just two of their last four.

The Dream get homecourt advantage in this one, and Washington will find it tough to play competitively on the road after four straight home games.
