Tonight’s three-game WNBA slate gives us a few playable moneyline favorites, with the Washington Mystics standing out against a struggling Phoenix Mercury squad.

Washington has won three of its last five, while Phoenix enters tonight just 1-4 over that span and is also adjusting after buying out DeWanna Bonner.

Find out why I’m backing the Mystics as 55% favorites, along with the Chicago Sky and Dallas Wings, in the best WNBA picks and moneyline predictions for Tuesday, Aug. 25.

Expert WNBA moneyline picks for August 25

Sky vs Sun pick: Sky

Kalshi probability: 69%

The Chicago Sky has a favorable bounce-back spot after Sunday’s home loss to Indiana, and the matchup points toward a stronger performance against the Connecticut Sun

The Sky are 3-2 over their last five, while the Sun are 1-4 and continue to struggle offensively. Chicago has also averaged 38.8 points in the paint during that stretch, matching the 38.8 Connecticut has allowed.

With Brittney Griner potentially sidelined tonight, Kamilla Cardoso should have a clear interior advantage and should cook soup in the paint.

Chicago is the better side here for this matchup on Tuesday night and is playable at 75%

Fire vs Wings pick: Wings

Kalshi probability: 78%

The Dallas Wings have been the stronger team all season and enter this matchup with a clear statistical edge over the Portland Fire

The Wings own a +3.2 Net Rating compared with the Fire’s -5.3, while Portland’s 112.1 Defensive Rating remains a major concern.

Dallas is also 3-2 over its last five and has generated 12.0 fast-break points per game during that span. Portland has gone 2-3 and continues to struggle defensively.

The price is steeper than the other favorites, but Dallas still profiles as the most reliable winner on Tuesday’s board for me.

Playable to 83%.

Mystics vs Mercury pick: Mystics

Kalshi probability: 55%

The Washington Mystics look like the best blend of price and matchup on Tuesday’s board.

The Mystics are 3-2 over their last five, while Phoenix has dropped four of five, and Washington’s interior production has been excellent.

The Mystics are averaging 47.2 points in the paint and 15.6 second-chance points during that stretch, while Phoenix has allowed 40.4 paint points per game.

Washington also owns the better full-season defensive rating and overall record. At a much more reasonable price than Dallas, the Mystics offer the strongest value of the three favorites overall.

Play the Mystics to 60%.
