Today's two-game WNBA slate doesn’t offer much standalone moneyline value, but it does set up nicely for a two-leg combo.

The Minnesota Lynx and Atlanta Dream are both sizable favorites, giving us two moneyline sides we can pair for a more attractive return.

Find out why I’m backing both favorites today in the best WNBA picks and moneyline predictions for Monday, Aug. 24.

Expert WNBA moneyline picks for August 24

Valkyries vs Lynx pick: Lynx

Kalshi probability: 70%

The Minnesota Lynx are the stronger side and benefit from playing at home.

Over the last five games, the Lynx are 5-0 with a 115.6 offensive rating, 104.1 defensive rating, and +11.6 net rating.

The Golden State Valkyries have defended well recently, but are monitoring minutes because of the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup, and Minnesota’s offense has been much more efficient and balanced.

The Lynx are also shooting 59.2% from the field over the last five, giving them a major scoring edge. At home, I’m backing Minnesota to win outright up to 75%.

Dream vs Sparks pick: Dream

Kalshi probability: 82%

The Atlanta Dream is the clear side for me against a Los Angeles Sparks team that has struggled badly on the defensive end of the floor.

Over the last five games, the Dream are 4-1 with a 122.0 offensive rating, 100.5 defensive rating, and +21.6 net rating.

The Sparks are just 1-4 over that same stretch with a 95.9 offensive rating and -11.4 net rating.

Even without Brionna Jones on the floor, Atlanta is playing at a much higher level on both ends, and Los Angeles has not shown enough consistency to trust.

I’m taking the Dream moneyline to 85%.
