Los Angeles’ minutes have seen a swing toward the reserves in recent games, with an average five-minute drop from the starters the last three outings.
Atlanta, on the other hand, is fighting for a Top 4 spot in the tournament and leans on its starting five more than any team in the league.
Allisha Gray went just 1-for-2 from distance in last week’s run-in with Los Angeles. That was just the second time in the last eight games the Dream’s guard failed to knock down at least two triples.
Gray has battled inconsistent shooting from outside most of the season, firing at a sub-28% clip during a 21-game span. She’s gotten hot at the right time, connecting on more than 40% of long-range looks in her last eight outings.
Angel Reese has dished out four or more dimes in three of her last four outings, and she'll reach that number tonight with ATL in full control.
