Fever vs Aces Predictions, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s WNBA Playoffs Game 5

With a trip to the WNBA Finals on the line in a winner-take-all Game 5, expect Aliyah Boston to be active in the paint as she battles MVP A'ja Wilson all night long.

As the Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Fever collide in tonight’s decisive Game 5, the equation is simple – one win for a place in the 2025 WNBA Finals.

But there’s been nothing easy in this series, with Indiana rising above its brutal injury list to make Las Vegas sweat, and my Fever vs. Aces predictions expect another tense battle at Michelob ULTRA Arena.

Take a closer look at this September 30 showdown with my free WNBA picks.

Fever vs Aces predictions

My Fever vs Aces best betAliyah Boston Over 9.5 rebounds (-125 at bet365)

Las Vegas may be synonymous with house money, but it’s the underdog Indiana Fever – with an injury list headlined by Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham – who arrive for Game 5 with the freedom to take big swings.

All the pressure is on the Las Vegas Aces in this series decider.

The odds are against the Fever, but if they’re going to pull off another huge upset, it’ll require more magic from Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell – and I’m looking at Boston, in particular, for a big night in her matchup against A’ja Wilson.

Boston has given Indiana more with each outing in this series, capped off by 24 points and 14 rebounds in the must-win Game 4 on Sunday, and she’s got history as an impact player in the cauldron of elimination games, with her heroics in the first-round decider against the Atlanta Dream.

Most of all, she’s had a consistent impact on the glass, and I love the Over on 9.5 boards here. Boston has finished with 11+ rebounds in three of the four contests in these semifinals – and in six of her past nine games.

Tonight’s clash feels destined to follow the usual scrappy script of series deciders, and that sets up Boston for a busy night in the paint.

Fever vs Aces same-game parlay (SGP)

Aliyah Boston Over 9.5 rebounds

Odyssey Sims Over 9.5 points

Under 158.5

Odyssey Sims has been one of the key under-the-radar performers in these playoffs, and her fearlessness has given the Indiana backcourt a life raft.

This points prop O/U is too low for a player who’s scored 16+ points in four of her last five outings and will get all the minutes she can handle tonight.

I’m also buying into the Game 5 nerves and taking the Under, which is 9-1 in the past 10 meetings between these teams.

Wilson will get her buckets, but it has to be a slight concern for Becky Hammon that the 2025 MVP has shot 30% or worse from the field in two of the four contests in this series.
