The Las Vegas Aces are the latest team to find out that the injury-hit Indiana Fever are no pushovers, but A’ja Wilson and Co. can regain control of this semifinal series in tonight’s Game 3.

Las Vegas responded to the Game 1 wake-up call to level the series on Tuesday, and my Aces vs. Fever predictions point to a resilient road effort from Becky Hammon’s squad here to snatch back homecourt advantage.

Aces vs Fever predictions

My Aces vs Fever best bet: Aces -4.5 (-105 at FanDuel)

As Game 2 reminded us, if the Las Vegas Aces match the Indiana Fever’s intensity in this series, their talent edge is going to come through in the end.

With some defensive adjustments that limited the Fever to just 68 points on 41% shooting, Las Vegas delivered the kind of thumping that we’ve got used to seeing from this squad during an unstoppable late-season surge.

Equally important, A’ja Wilson looked like her usual MVP self after an inefficient Game 1. Wilson went 10-for-18 from the field on Tuesday, while Chelsea Gray dished 10 assists. With that duo clicking, I’m picking the Aces to take charge of this series and cover the spread tonight.

With all due respect to the Fever and the frenzied crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, I trust a veteran Las Vegas team to take care of business. The visitors didn’t handle that atmosphere well in their regular season visits, but they’ll have the best player on the court, and they found some answers in Game 2 that should carry over here.

The Aces are 8-2 in their last 10 outings, and they’ve got all the ingredients to smother an Indiana team that’s over-reliant on Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston and still papering over Caitlin Clark’s absence.

There’s every chance that this contest is close heading into the fourth quarter, but it’s easier to trust Las Vegas to get the clutch buckets when it really counts.

Aces vs Fever same-game parlay (SGP)

Aces -4.5

A’ja Wilson double-double

Kelsey Mitchell Over 19.5 points

Wilson clearly understood the stakes in Game 2, and she’ll need to be just as impactful tonight if the Aces are going to land a road victory.

Her points total is never a concern for the double-double prop, and she’s already racked up 22 rebounds in this series. I’m expecting a monster stat line.

Las Vegas did a much better job of containing Mitchell on Tuesday, after she poured in 34 points in Game 1, but this is a volume play.

The Fever will keep putting the ball in their star guard’s hands, and she’s averaged 20.8 PPG across her past 10 outings.
