Smith vs Clark Betting Preview
Anthony "Lionheart" Smith is the No. 6-ranked light heavyweight despite coming off back-to-back losses, a decision defeat against Aleksandr Rakic in August and a brutal ground-and-pound beatdown at the hands of Glover Teixeira earlier in the year.
Despite those losses, Lionheart is still 7-4 in his last 11 UFC fights, with all seven of those victories coming by stoppage. Smith is a well-rounded fighter, who managed to submit Alexander Gustaffson and Volkan Oezdemir in his last two wins, but also has polished striking ability.
Devin "Brown Bear" Clark is coming off back-to-back decision wins against Alonzo Menifield and Dequan Townsend. He's now 4-3 in his last seven fights dating back to 2017.
With a background in wrestling, Brown Bear is the type of fighter that grinds out wins with leg kicks, clinching and top control.

Smith vs Clark UFC Prediction and Betting Pick
PREDICTION: Smith to win -110 - Although Smith has taken a fair amount of damage in his career, he's still relatively young at 32. As his nickname Lionheart suggests, Smith is tough as nails and Clark has zero knockouts in 10 UFC fights so don't expect that chin to be tested.
Smith might be 1-3 in his last four fights but those losses have come against some of the top light heavyweights around: the GOAT Jon Jones, No. 1 contender Teixeira and Rakic, who is currently ranked No. 4. Lionheart should find the going easier against the unranked Clark.
Clark is a strong wrestler but Smith is more well-rounded and has superior striking and finishing ability. Grab Smith at a pick'em price before the line inevitably moves in his direction.
