Jacob Fowler hasn't allowed more than two goals in seven consecutive road starts, conceding just three over his last four. He leads all goaltenders in goals saved above expected over the last 10 games (9.8).
Meanwhile, the Leafs have dropped three of their last four games and are just 4-4-1 at home this season.

The Dallas Stars are a puck line play to 55%.
The San Jose Sharks have dropped six of the last seven, with five of those losses coming by multiple goals.
San Jose’s awful string of results are deserved. They have controlled just 37.9% of the expected goals at 5-on-5, with no other team sitting below 40%.
Dallas should walk all over them in that state, and their special teams are also much better.

Play to 52%.
Jason Robertson has cleared 3.5 shots in four of five games against teams ranking Bottom-10 in shot suppression. That includes a four shot performance against the Sharks.
They've defended poorly all year but things have gotten even worse of late. The Sharks have allowed more than 32 shots per game over their last 10, and rank 30th in average shot differential during that span.

Draisaitl has been an absolute goal-scoring machine, burying 14 goals in 17 games while averaging 3.7 shots on net. Vancouver is allowing an NHL-worst 4.61 goals per game and owns a dreadful 63.3% penalty kill, which spells trouble against Edmonton's potent power play. It doesn't help Vancouver that they take about 11 minutes of penalties per game - 22nd in hockey. With seven of Draisaitl's goals coming on the man advantage, this matchup is tailor-made for him to find the back of the net.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins o0.5 Assists (+106)
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has an easy matchup against a Canucks team that's allowed 4.5 goals per game over its last 10 contests, losing nine of those games. With Nugent-Hopkins projected to skate alongside Connor McDavid and Draisaitl on Edmonton's top power-play unit, his playmaking ability and exposure to two of hockey's most dangerous scorers give him a strong chance to record an assist. We're getting tremendous value here - don't overthink it.

David Pastrnak has a team-leading eight goals in 17 games, putting him on pace for his sixth career 40-goal season. The B's superstar has scored six of his eight tallies this season at TD Garden, with four goals in his last four home games.
He'll be shooting against Jacob Markstrom, who has a subpar .885 SV% this season and has allowed 3+ goals in three straight starts.

David Pastrnak has thrown 4+ shots on net in three straight contests, and with James Hagens ruled out with a back injury, the Bruins captain will be relied upon even more heavily to carry the offense.

An NHL moneyline bet is simple: all you need to do is pick a winner. Whether that's in regulation or overtime, they don't ask how, but how many, right?

As with all moneyline odds, the team with the minus sign (-) is the favorite, while the side with the plus sign (+) is the underdog.
Betting $100 on Edmonton at -130 would net you $176 in winnings if they win the game, $76 of profit plus your initial $100 wager. Conversely, if you bet on Florida and they win, you get $210: $110 in profit plus your initial $100 bet.
The puck line is the NHL's version of the spread, where each team is given a certain number of goals to either win or lose by. Unlike the NFL or the NBA, the NHL spread doesn't typically change from 1.5 for each side. The spread is designed to make betting on the favorite more enticing.

The favorite, Edmonton at -1.5, would need to win by at least two goals for the bet to cash. If Edmonton wins by two or more goals, in other words, "covers the bet," you'd get $191 in winnings instead of $176 by taking them on the moneyline.
There are two ways for the underdog, Florida at +1.5, to "cover" a +1.5 puck line bet. They can lose by a single goal or win outright to cash. The odds are shorter, but you have options on this bet.
With a total bet, you're wagering on the total number of goals scored by both teams. You aren't backing any single side to win.

Sportsbooks will set a line for the game. In this case, it's 5.5 goals. Your job is to figure out if Edmonton and Florida will score more or fewer than 5.5 goals, not counting the shootout.
If you see a line that's an even number, like 6.0, those bets can end in a push where your wager is refunded if the game ends at exactly six goals.
