Regardless of how the New York Giants slice up the possessions for their quarterbacks, the hosts should be able to count on four quarters of steady quarterback play. It’s harder to say the same with conviction about the New England Patriots’ QB situation. It would be a surprise if Drake Maye suits up and, though Josh Dobbs was efficient against the Minnesota Vikings last time out, Ben Woolridge is untested behind him. There’s a clearer sense that New England will lean on its backups here, and that’s another reason to pick against the visitors. That paves the way for the Giants to take charge at MetLife Stadium, and I expect the G-Men to win by a margin of at least a touchdown.
