She has a great chance to put up big numbers tonight against the Toronto Tempo, who are second-worst in defensive rating in the WNBA this season.
The 86-73 rockfight between these teams earlier this month feels like a good indicator of what we’ll see today and, while I like the Tempo to have the last laugh, both squads rank in the bottom five in field goal percentage. Brittney Sykes is ideally suited for that kind of scrap, and she grabbed six rebounds in Toronto’s midweek win in Chicago, so I expect the hosts’ guards to make an impact on the glass against a depleted Seattle frontcourt.
