This is a very important series for the Jays to get back to their winning ways, and after taking the opener vs. the Rockies, we'll back them again here to cover the -1.5 spread. Jose Berrios should have no issues bouncing back vs. this weak-hitting Rockies side, while the Jays' bats come to life yet again.

Jose Berríos under 17.5 outs (-105) looks solid here — he’s projected for just 15.7 outs on an 85-pitch workload. He’s stayed under this number in four of his last six starts (vs. NYY, OAK, SF, BAL), and hasn’t topped 90 pitches in that stretch. The Toronto bullpen is in good shape too — Lauer gave them 6 full innings yesterday after the B arms were used in a 15-1 blowout. Meanwhile, Colorado’s offense has been sneaky — they’re outside the top 10 in K% over the last 14 days and rank 8th in wRC+ in that span.

A trip to Coors Field is just what Daulton Varsho needed to knock the rust off after missing the last two months with a hamstring injury. The Gold Glove outfielder went 2-for-5 with a home run in last night's 15-1 win and now faces what is basically a Rockies bullpen day. Colorado relievers rank next-to-last in ERA, opponent batting average, and strikeout rate.
