The arrow is pointing up for the Rangers, who’ve won seven of their last nine, piling up 52 runs in that span. As this crucial four-game series gets underway, I prefer to roll the dice with the Rangers, who are 28-17 in their last 45 games and eyeing a surge up the AL West standings.

George Kirby boasts a 7-0 record against the Rangers, pitching to a 1.15 ERA in nine starts and allowing just a .532 OPS. Back Seattle to cover the run line against a Rangers team turning to Kumar Rocker, who has struggled mightily this season with a 5.73 ERA.

Raleigh hasn’t slowed down one bit since lifting the Home Run Derby crown at the All-Star festivities in Atlanta. The MLB’s HR leader is now up to 41 bombs on the season, going deep three times post-All-Star break. He’ll face Kumar Rocker of the Texas Rangers tonight, who owns a 5.73 ERA.

Garica is one of the few Rangers in tonight's lineup that has good numbers against Mariners starter George Kirby. He's 6-for-20 with a double and a home run, good for a .310 xBA and a .693 xSLG. And despite his low average Garcia has been very productive this season with 62 RBIs, including at least one in three of his last five games. That makes this price stand out in a big way.

Kumar Rocker has given up 29 earned runs across 26+ innings on the road this year which equates to a 9.91 ERA across seven starts. The walks are an issue with a 4.4 BB/9 and the 40 hits allowed are an eye-opener. He’ll face a stronger Seattle offense that should have some added power with the landing of Eugenio Suarez. The last time Rocker pitched in Seattle this year, he lasted just 68 pitches and gave up four runs while striking out just two. His leash is longer of late, and he is 5-2 to the Over on this prop on the road this year.
