Cubs lefty Shota Imanaga has won consecutive starts since returning from the IL, while allowing just three runs and scattering only seven baserunners across 10 1/3 innings. The Twins also rank a middling 15th in wOBA while sporting the fifth-highest strikeout percentage against left-handed pitchers for the season. On the flip side, I expect the Cubs offense to have a solid day with Twins righty Simeon Woods Richardson sporting a run-of-the-mill 4.41 ERA and 4.75 xFIP while allowing a healthy 42.4 hard-hit rate and 11.5 barrel percentage.

Not only is Busch mashing of late with a 19-for-39 run at the dish while piling up 12 runs and 12 RBI across his past 11 contests, he’s been teeing off on righties all season. His .432 wOBA, .289 ISO and 1.014 OPS against right-handed pitchers respectively rank second, third and 10th in the majors. Of course, Minnesota righty Simeon Woods Richardson checks out as a favorable matchup, too.
