New York @ Baltimore picks

The New York Yankees were home run happy on Tuesday in a 15-3 win. While I'm not expecting another six home runs, they should keep the hot bats rolling vs. Cade Povich and his 5.04 ERA. Povic has had major issues with the long ball, giving up four across his last three starts, and those came against teams without the same power the Yankees possess. I believe the Yankees will outscore the pitching woes of Carlos Carrasco and pick up their second straight win. 

Cade Povich has had a rough stretch to start this season with not a ton to point to from a positive perspective for the Baltimore Orioles. Meanwhile, New York Yankees pitcher Carlos Carrasco should suit the Orioles well. Regarding his two primary pitches, the Orioles lineup will have up to five players with an above-average BaBIP against them. Additionally, batters like Adley Rutschman, Cedric Mullins, and Jordan Westburg boost some impressive hard-hit clips against them. Both teams have good matchups, and both pitchers are largely unimpressive. I expect some fireworks this evening on another warm evening in Baltimore.
