The Orioles have won 14 consecutive extra-inning contests, second in major-league history behind the 17 straight posted by the 1949 Cleveland Indians. Baltimore tallied twice in the ninth inning to force extra frames and Seattle went 0-for-17 with runners in scoring position. Jesus Montero of the Mariners suffered through an 0-for-8 contest while three Baltimore players – Adam Jones, Mark Reynolds and Matt Wieters – were hitless in seven at-bats. Orioles outfielder Nate McLouth has three hits in each of the first two games of the series and scored the go-ahead run on a pinch-hit single by Taylor Teagarden.

About Units and β€œROI”

Units are a standardized measurement used to determine the size of each of your bets relative to your bankroll. For example, if you have a bankroll of $200 and you bet 5% of your bankroll each time, each of your units is worth $10. A bettor with a $2000 bankroll who bets 5% per bet has units of $100. We use the number of units to standardize the amount the trend is up or down across different bet amounts.

ROI is the best indicator of success and measures how much you bet vs. how much you profited. Any positive ROI is good in sports betting with great long-term bettors sitting in the 5-7% range.
