Ryan Braun is two RBIs shy of his fifth consecutive 100-RBI campaign as the Milwaukee Brewers face the Miami Marlins in Wednesday’s third contest of the four-game set. Braun drove in two runs in Milwaukee’s win on Tuesday to increase his National League-leading total to 98. The reigning MVP’s career high for RBIs is 114 set in 2009. The Brewers have won 12 of 15 games while Miami has lost eight of its last 11.Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton hit his 30th homer on Tuesday to make it two straight 30-homer campaigns. His season output is impressive when you factor in he missed 30 games after undergoing knee surgery in July. It is just the 17th time in Marlins’ history that a player has reached the 30-homer mark. Norichika Aoki homered and had three RBIs and is swinging a hot bat for the Brewers. Aoki is batting .419 (13-for-31) during an eight-game hitting streak.
